So, you ask, “and what’s so special about your outfit?” Well, for a start, we are an Architectural Practice that really is about reducing your costs, avoiding risks and achieving much, much more.
We offer drawings, advice and support and we believe we offer a valuable and unique service that is not offered by anyone else in the Building industry (as far as we know) – the sharing of the copyright of our drawings with our clients.
Our two primary functions are:
ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS
The preparation of your drawings for submission (we prefer to call it lodging) to the Planning Authority
PLANNING CONSULTANCY
The preparation of your Application plus the supporting documentation to illustrate and argue the case towards the approval of your project. This might include two or more applications and may need an Appeal in the event of a Refusal to Grant Consent.
We can also provide support with obtaining Tenders for Builders and Sub-Contractors, Project Management and ‘end of project’ issues such as Air Testing and a final Energy Performance Certificate.
These are a prerequisite of you obtaining your Completion Certificate from Building Control. This is a very important document as it confirms that your building work complies with the statutory regulations – something demanded by your purchaser’s solicitors when, or if, you come to sell. Keep it with your Deeds!

If you wish, we can also extend our service to provide the drawings and supporting documentation required by Building Control to examine your proposals prior to issuing an Approval under the Building Regulations Acts. Once you have (hopefully!) got your planning permission this procedure becomes the next critical step on the path to your new home or other building project.
